The Prime-Time Project was a joint project between the heritage and art sides of Taigh Chearsabhagh and implements a programme of arts and crafts workshops and heritage related activities to elderly and isolated people on the islands of North Uist, Benbecula and South Uist. Activities are be offered to over 60's groups, The Uist and Barra Hospital, Trianaid Residential Home and Uist House Residential Home.

Activities includes traditional and contemporary crafts like textiles, leatherwork and willow weaving. Expressive arts activities include painting, printmaking and 3 dimensional work. Story telling, music events and dance and movement sessions introduce other art forms. Archive photographs and artefacts from the local Historical Society's collection are also used for reminiscence and handling sessions.

Funding was been secured from Lloyds TSB and the Community Fund. This 2 year project started in August 2004.
