Digital Media Production Facilities
Ever since producing the 2001 documentary Passing Places – The Real Outer Hebrides, Taigh Chearsabhagh has been committed to collaborating with local communities, students, artists and production companies to use digital media to very high production standards. You can see a wide variety of what we’ve been working on at our Vimeo Channel
Past productions have included A Confluence with Ian Stephen, Real Escape with French artist, Jocelyn Cottencin, Andy Goldsworthy – North Uist Works, The Flying Fiddles promo, Bàird Uibhist in collaboration with Comann Eachdraidh Uibhist a Tuath and the BREATH/ANAIL video installation with Chris Drury.
Recent productions for BBC Learning, Machair LIFE+, Cèolas, National Youth Orchestra of Scotland and many more have convinced us that the time is right to develop Taigh Chearsabhagh’s Digital Media resources.
To this end, and with investment from Creative Scotland, HIE and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, UistFilm was launched in October 2013 to further develop Digital Media production, training and education in Uist. for the latest news on UistFilm follow us on twitter and checkout the website
