Poetry Evening: Distant Voices Still Lives

Join us for an evening of poetry sharing, which accompanies our Uist Unearthed exhibition in Gallery 2.

Voices from the past or from different and distant cultures can so often offer new perspectives, insights and inspirations for our current preoccupations and concerns. Does a favourite poem – or one you have written – come to mind that for you, relates in some way to distant voices and still lives? If so, and you would like to share it, you are very welcome to join us. As always, though, there is no pressure to read. Coming to listen and enjoy the poems being read is equally good!
