Miniature Slate Roof Bothy with rustic or smooth walls ‘Glen Lethnot’ handmade by Glenshee Pottery.
Colourful Iron Moss named after Angus Glen ‘Lethnot’ glazed pottery bothy. A charming and Quirky collectable.
A Bothy is a basic shelter and a Scottish word for a hut or a cottage found in Scotland’s remote areas to accommodate farm workers, shepherds or travellers. These are now left unlocked and available for anyone to use without any charge in highlands.
These quirky glazed bothies are made from sticky earthenware clay, Kiln fire and then painted by hand.
Since they are handmade from start to finish, each bothy is unique. There may be a slight variation in terms of shape & size as shown in the pictures. No two bothies are the same.
