A seven-year plan for Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Arts Centre.
Based in North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, our work is rooted in the Uist community and its strong creative and heritage sectors.
Our main role here is: enabling, developing and mentoring, creating activities and programming exhibitions to provide a balanced and exciting range of cultural opportunities.
Looking outwards, we believe in the unique and extensive cultural value of the Outer Hebrides, and reflect and develop this whenever possible. We are certain of the strength in collaboration and community to take our people, our place, our work to the rest of the world.
This document sets out our mission, vision, aims and objectives for Taigh Chearsabhagh’s future. It maps our place in the strategic world of our stakeholders and funders. We will use it in conjunction with a regularly updated action plan, evaluation system, and seven-year financial plan.
Our Place in the World is the beginning of a seven-year journey for our organisation – it is our strong, vital strategy for the future.
