Fèill ùr a’ comharrachadh litreachas Uibhist. Am measg nan tachartasan air feadh na seachdain, bidh farpais sgrìobhaidh, seiseanan ùghdair, òraidean, bogaidhean leabhair agus bùthan-obrach sna sgoiltean agus sa choimhearsnachd.

A new festival for Uist’s literature during Book Week Scotland. Author sessions, a writing competition, lectures, book launches and workshops in schools and in the community.

Helene Witcher introducing her latest book “Madam Scotia Madam Scrap” about the Scottish pioneer musician, and clarsach player, Heloise Russell- Fergusson 1896-1970.

There will be recordings of Heloise playing and live music from Anna MacIain.
