Geology Talk – Jean Archer

What does geology sound like? – 12:30pm-1:30pm – Gallery 2
A performance by the Office Orchestra of Christian Wollf’s composition Stones

Tional – 2:30pm-5:30pm
A gathering for tea, coffe and baking followed by the sharing of memories of the part played by stones in island life – uses, place names, stories, significance etc, in Gaelic

Earthwords – 7pm-9pm – Gallery 2
A selection of literary responses to the current geology exhibition by members of the Uist Writers Group
+ Open Mic – Please bring a piece of poetry or prose to read on the day’s theme of mountains and geology.
