A showcase of student work from the NC Art & Design and BA (Hons) Fine Art
UHI North, West and Hebrides are delighted to hold the annual Open Studios Exhibition, a showcase of student work from the NC Art & Design and BA (Hons) Fine Art.
Please join us at the opening night on Friday 9th May, 6-8pm, to celebrate their achievements. All are welcome, refreshments are provided.
The annual exhibition brings together work from all of the art school’s students and shows the quality and diversity of work being made across the two art courses. You will find explorations of sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, installation, textiles and more. Themes include ecological and environmental concerns, personal and global ideas, and material exploration.
Students exhibiting are Maggie Barker, Janet Beck, Natalie Cloughley-Macleod, Sue Envill, Elizabeth French, Philly Hare, Leo Jackson-Horn, Sandra Robertson, Ania Rolinska, Caroline Williams and Charlotte Young. Works are available to purchase, to support the artists in their creative development.
The Open Studios Exhibition is free to view in the Studio Gallery in Taigh Chearsabhagh, Monday to Saturday 10 am – 4 pm, from 10th May – 21st June.
