What can The University of the Highlands and Islands do for your business?
The Knowledge Exchange Creative Economy Hub at the University of the Highlands and Islands is committed to developing collaboration and interaction with the creative economy sector across the region. The university aims to increase activity in knowledge exchange for the benefit of the communities it serves and the region’s economy, ensuring clear linkage of this to research and teaching.
The creative industries contribute over £100 billion to the UK economy. Across the Highlands and Islands, there is a diverse and pro-active community of creative practitioners and businesses engaged in excellent and innovative production. We know that the arts and creative industries are a major driver in the Highland and Islands economy and we are keen to work with these businesses, creative practitioners and makers to achieve even better outcomes and to increase involvement with the local community.
We work with those interested in developing business, management and marketing strategies in the arts, heritage and creative industries. If you are interested in developing your practice and business through innovation, new products, processes and artefacts and to raise your profile and performance within the creative economy – please get in touch with us. We have a range of opportunities and approaches which we can offer to support you.
