Join us to piece together what you think the future of Uist could look like using repurposed posters, magazines and paper scraps.
This will be a family friendly session for anyone to join. Free and all ages welcome. Drop-in at any time, refreshments will be provided.
Background on the project
Sorcha Monk and Emily Durie are facilitating several community workshops making things out of what could be considered waste items, such as old books and clothes. During these sessions, people are invited to chat about climate concerns, and ideas for things that could be done in Uist. These conversations will inform a Third Sector Climate Action Plan for Uist, which will be written by UCVO and Community Energy Scotland. With funding from Carbon Neutral Islands.
