Join us for an evening of homegrown and local poetry to accompany The Music of North Uist exhibition opening soon in our museum. This month we have a music-related theme: The Answer is Blowing in the Wind.
Bring a favourite poem or one you have written yourself and would like to share at this open-mic night. Let your inspiration wander and interpret Dylan’s lyrics freely – you could bring poetic song lyrics, poetry about music or something which relates to questions, answers or meditations about the wind and nature! As always, there’s no pressure to read, just bring yourself, everyone is welcome.
We’ll also screen a film poem, Indifferent the Wind, by Sif Nielsen with words by Pauline Prior-Pitt.
Hosted by Pauline Prior-Pitt.
