Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Arts Centre in Lochmaddy, North Uist, is an award-winning arts, heritage, learning and social hub serving the Uist community and the many visitors to the Outer Hebrides.
All of our activities contribute to our overall vision which is “to celebrate, investigate, share and engage people with our cultural heritage, Gaelic language and artistic diversity of ‘AN T-ÀITE AGAINNE’, ‘Our Place in the World”.
Taigh Chearsabagh Trust is a registered Scottish charity and company limited by guarantee. We are seeking to expand our breadth of expertise on our Board of Trustees and would like to invite applications from individuals, both locally and further afield, with enthusiasm and commitment to Uist, Arts, Culture and Heritage keen to help shape and direct Taigh Chearsabhagh’s future. We would particularly welcome applicants with financial and retail/catering expertise. Applications from Gaelic speakers are encouraged.
