Winter Open Exhibition 2023

Following on from recent years success this year’s Winter offering from the Uist Arts Association has a Small Works theme. Our exhibitions are open for all our members to exhibit, and are delighted to be also including some works by this year’s students on the art courses at UHI North, West and Hebrides.

Please join us at 7pm on Monday 13th November for the opening night of the exhibition, and Book Week Scotland 2023, with a talk from Helen Douglas about artists’ books. All are warmly welcome.

The Uist Arts Association (UAA) was formed over 25 years ago by a group of people interested in promoting and facilitating the arts in Uist, including artists, makers, writers, and those keen to support arts activities and appreciation of the arts. The UAA was instrumental in the establishment of Taigh Chearsabhagh.

More information including joining information and profiles of a number of our members can be found on the UAA website.

The exhibition is free to view in the Taigh Chearsabhagh café gallery, 10 am – 4 pm, Monday to Saturday.
