Writing Workshop with Jenny Lindsay

Join Jenny Lindsay to explore a sense of place, identity and heritage in a creative writing workshop which complements the ongoing exhibition, Searching Erskine.

Jenny Lindsay is a writer, poet and performer, who is also an award-winning programmer of literary events. She won a John Byrne Award for Critical Thinking in 2020 and her most recent work, This Script, has been described as “brave, complex… and always piercingly and unforgettably intelligent” by The Scotsman. She lives in Ayrshire where she is working on her debut novel and third collection of poetry.

Jenny will also be hosting a poetry evening at Taigh Chearsabhagh on Thursday 26th May. For further details and booking, please visit the event page here.

Searching Erskine is an exhibition of soundscapes, print, photography, and drawing from Arun Sood, Rosalind Blake, Emile Kees, and Meg Rodger exploring connections to the history of the tidal island of Vallay. It is currently showing in Gallery 1 at Taigh Chearsabhagh.

Taigh Chearsabhagh would like to thank Live Literature Scotland for their support.
