As Print Workshop and Darkroom Co-ordinator I have been arranging and running workshops for University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) as well as developing and organising the Learning and Living Wildness (LLW) event.

For LLW John Kippin presented his work and led the photography workshop – Many thanks John, this was well received and very enjoyable.
Thank you Shona MacLellan and Jamie Boyle from the RSPB for your informative talks and walk – we had perfect weather for this occasion which was superb.
For the LLW event all the lunches, tea and cakes were made by the café crew at Taigh Chearsabhagh – these were fantastic and delicious – Thank you!
Thank you to the participants (Jannette, Karen and Keith) for your keenness, energy and effort – you made some really strong prints – the exhibition looks very accomplished. I am amazed at how much work we did in such a short time. I think it was a very stimulating four days for everyone!
Work that was produced on the LLW event is now on show in the Café Gallery at Taigh Chearsabhagh until 10.06.23.

One of the great things about open-access studios is the sharing of processes.
Workshops and studio memberships provide the opportunity to develop inspiring spaces for discussion, participation, and support. It would be exciting to continue to invite other Printmaking practitioners and Photographers to run more workshops!
I would welcome some of your ideas for this – who would you like to have a workshop from?
Please email nicola@taigh-chearsabhagh.org with any suggestions.
