Are you overflowing with tomato seedlings, wishing you had just a couple of chilli plants to go with them? Maybe your mint has been a bit too vigorous and you don’t want it to go to waste? Come along to a free plant and produce swap at Taigh Chearsabhagh on Saturday 13th August with Sorcha Monk, Creative Producer for the Dandelion Unexpected Garden project. Sorcha will be out on the deck, accessed through the café space, with pots, soil, and seedlings to share.
Bring along as many plants as you’d like and swap or share them with other garden enthusiasts. If you’re curious about growing and wouldn’t mind trying it out, you can join in to find out how to get started too. Houseplants are also welcome, anything ‘grows’!
After the plant swap, there will be a free Botanical Cyanotypes workshop with Margaret JoanMacIsaac hosted indoors at Taigh Chearsabhagh. To find out more about the drop-in drawing workshop, visit the event page here.
