Join Cat Bruce, award winning director and animator from the Scottish Highlands, for an informal animator’s session. This is an opportunity for students and professional artists to share their practice in a relaxed environment.
You can bring along work to share with the group, and Cat can offer feedback as well as answering questions about her own work. Cat is here on the islands as part of Visual Virtuoso, a music and animation participatory project which is part of Puppet Animation Scotland’s Captivate programme, along with Diane Thornton, Captivate Project Officer. Cat and Diane can talk about the project and the work they are doing with local schools.
Animations made by Cat Bruce from characters and backgrounds created by P7 pupils at Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath, Balivanich School, Iochdar School and Daliburgh School as part of Visual Virtuoso will feature in a live music performance, Distant Melodies, at 7.30pm on Wednesday the 1st of March at Taigh Chearsabhagh.
