A busy month

It has been a very busy month.

I have been working with local artist Fiona Pearson and the Print Workshop has also started to attract attention from visiting artists. Renowned Printmaker Sue Shields is coming next month to look around the workshops and the very talented Ania Rolinska, on her visit to Uist, came in to use the Print Workshop. Acclaimed Photographer John Kippin is regularly using the Darkroom.

Ania Rolinska: “It’s been a week since I left Uist; I had a fabulous time there, and I really enjoyed working in the studio. I just wanted to thank you again for making me feel welcome, for the induction and a chat, as well as introducing me to Rosie. I will sure be back – I’m already looking at dates – hopefully in November or early December or early spring next year, and I will certainly use the studio again. It is such a great set-up.”

The new Members’ Gallery page is starting to look great – this is a place for paid-up members to display their prints and black & white photographs on the Taigh Chearsabhagh website.
